Since 1984, Stage 84 has delivered quality training to young people in many performing arts disciplines. We offer multiple classes, spread across the week to allow students to train in the skills of interest to them. Lessons are delivered in bright, modern facilities fitted for purpose and situated very closely to each other.
Stage 84 offers performing arts examinations with Trinity Guildhall, the International Dance Teachers Association and the Guildford School of Acting. We also represent young people with our own casting agency. Students have won successful roles in film, television, theatre, radio, advertising and in the music industry. A number of well known actors and actresses began their careers with Stage 84.

Throughout our history we have offered fantastic experiences for our students supplementing life in regular classes. These include entry into national competitions, performances supporting celebrity casts, CD recordings, workshops led by guest industry professionals, performances abroad and in major cities around the UK. Every year many students take part in a large production at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford. We have presented UK musical premieres as well as having often surpassed West End cast sizes.
Stage 84 has taken part in a list of prestigious events very few organisations can match. These include performing both in London and in Europe representing our home city, and before royalty. A number of well known patrons continue to support the School and attend performances. The School is led by founder and principal, Valerie Jackson MBE. |
